Shayok (Shay) Dutta, PhD

Shay earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rice University in 2023, where he studied the role of hippocampal sharp wave ripples on memory formation. He is creating a closed-loop VNS system to intersect with aspects of hippocampal function to interact with cognitive function.
